The holidays are around the corner and we have so much to be thankful for here at Bryan’s. We are especially fortunate to have a full fridge and a warm place to go home to at the end of the day. This is not the case for so many families in our community. To commemorate the end of 2018 we want to help feed families who are struggling to put food on the table.
Bryan’s is organizing and hosting a community food drive. All the non-perishable food collected at our location during the November and December auctions will be donated to the Eva Rothwell Centre emergency pantry. In addition to a much needed breakfast program, which runs out of centre, dedicated staff and volunteers also coordinate a pantry program for those families requiring extra food bank support.
Our goal is to collect enough food to fill an entire Bryan’s utility trailer! We will be delivering it to the centre shortly after our auction on Dec. 29.
Bryan’s is asking employees, customers, suppliers, and those who simply want to pop by with food items, to drop off donations either at our main office or at Warehouse #1 in the rear of our property. It takes a village to make a difference, and if we can all come together to do this, it will be an amazing way to end 2018.
Suggested Donations include the following:
Please join us to support the tremendous work of the remarkable people at the Eva Rothwell Center. Every little bit of aid will be a huge help for the children and families that the centre services.
